Jacob Kulick

BIO

Jacob grew up in Pennsylvania with his family. He started writing songs as an outlet for anxiety and bullying around 12 years old.

In 2008, he started a band "Story of Another." Jacob also transformed his bedroom closet into a makeshift recording studio and recorded a 15-song album of his own originals in 2009, selling CDs entitled “For My Sanity” to his peers.

Jacob attended college at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and received his Bachelor's of Science in Audio Engineering. He began his solo career by winning an online competition to open for Tyler Ward in Philadelphia in 2012. Shortly after, he self recorded an EP entitled "Truth and Liars."

Jacob started working at CBS Radio in New York City in 2015. He also released another EP entitled "High in Limbo.”  At CBS, he met someone who would eventually connect him with Joe Riccitelli of RCA Records.

For the next two years, Jacob wrote over 50 songs, continuing to show the songs to RCA on a monthly basis. In 2016, he changed his performing name from Jacob Kulick to KULICK. Jacob started releasing some of the finished singles from the batch of songs in 2017. One of these songs included a song entitled “H,” which reached 25,000 plus people from social media outlets and local news coverage.  That year he also released "Entropath", "Goner", and "Last Call."

In July of 2017, KULICK signed a record deal with RCA/Gold N’ Retriever Records. In August of July, KULICK signed a publishing deal with SONY/ATV. He plans to release new music soon and is currently working on his first single.
